While in Hong Kong I had the pleasure of attending Vogue China’s first ever Hong Kong tea party.
As the invite stated” Vogue China will collaborate with the British Fashion Council & London Show Rooms for this exclusive tea party. We have invited 8 elite London fashion designers (Jonathan Saunders/Marios Schwab/Nicholas Kirkwood etc) to showcase their latest SS 2012 collection (Womenswear + Menswear). Vogue China’s Editor-in-Chief ‘Angelica Cheung’ and the London designers will attend in person to meet our VIP guests.”
Having just arrived from Shanghai the night before with nothing more than a pair of skinny jeans and a black tank top to my name, I ran over to my friends spot in SOHO the morning of, where I proceeded to raid her closet for an appropriate outfit. Hours later, (3 to be exact) I ran over to SPACE for the event (getting lost in a couple of the side streets along the way).
It was an intimate affair teeming with beautiful people and gorgeous clothing, definitely a highlight of my Hong Kong visit. The designers were sweet and their collections (Kirkwood’s shoes especially) left me salivating.
Pics below (my favorite guest outfit was a pair of panda shoes that an attendee was rocking).

Wow. Loving the David Koma white dress with pink detail. Divine. You should have gotten some goodies.
