Since Tripadvisor has launched their compilation of the world’s best beaches, I though I’d give my own list a go. These locations have been tried and tested by yours truly and come highly recommended.
10. Negril Beach, Jamaica
Go for the epic cliff diving and beautiful waters. However, beware the spring break crowds and hustlers who can get tedious after a while.

9. Amalfi, Italy
The water is freezing, but the view is to die for. Also … italian food.

8. Las Salinas Beach – Ibiza, Spain
We had to include some fun party beaches on the list, and Salinas is all the party and paella anyone could ask for. Hotties galore, slamming music, and a beautiful beach.

7. Mabor Beach- Goa, India
Mabor Beach is one of the most clean and quiet beaches to be found in Goa. Famous for its water activities, luxury resorts and night life.

6. Ko Phi Phi Don, Thailand
As the Largest of the Phi Phi Islands, Ko Phi Phi is part of a national marine park. Next time you are in Phuket grab a boat and hop on over, this one is not to be missed.

5. Ha Long Bay – Vietnam
Grab a Junk Boat and explore one of the worlds most beautiful Unesco Heritage sites. Ha Long Bay consists of around 1600 islands and islets, meaning you are spoiled for choice.

4. Ses Illetes- Formentera, Balaeric Islands Spain
Some of the clearest water you’ll ever swim in, and it doesn’t hurt that Ibiza is a stones throw away.

3. Playa Rincon – Dominican Republic
If you want a beautiful beach and lagoon all to yourself this is the place to go. Playa Rincon is difficult to get to, so those who make the effort are handsomely rewarded. Fun fact: Playa Rincon is also said to be Columbus’s entry point to Hispaniola.

2. Nungwi- Zanzibar, Tanzania
Having just returned from Tanzania, my experience at Nungwi was spectacular enough to bring it in at number two on my hot spots list. Hippies and chi chi beach bums flock to Zanzibars Nungwi beach for the clear waters and relaxing ambiance.

1. Flamenco Beach- Culebra, Puerto Rico
I love this place so much I’ve been four times already. The whole island of Culebra is riddled with beautiful beaches, phenomenal seafood, and the best star gazing you could ever hope for.

amazing! u need to add maldives on here! water there is unreaaaaall
12. Blajat, Salmiya – Kuwait
If you like diapers! You’ll love Bljat.
I would never go to the Nagirni beach in Jamaica…No way. Not without a chastity belt
Agreed on ZanzibarI prefer Bweju beach tho, less travelled, more secluded
