While this is hardly a step by step, start to finish report of how iPads are made. But rather a brief overview of the workers at the Foxconn factories. Apple uses Foxconn factories to make most of its products, and people know very little how the Apple iPad is actually made and then shipped to Apple Retail Stores or Amazon. Well it all starts in China.

The following video gives you a strange glimpse at the mysterious world of Chinese manufacturing. Only a few, handful, of reporters were allowed into the Foxconn factories.

I really wish they went into more detail and showed how iPhone 4s’s were made or iPod’s. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple has assured people that no shady business goes into making their products, and I guess the previous video shows that to a degree.
