Last year was an awful year for movies, I for one, wasn’t excited to see not even one movie. I think. OK, maybe a movie or two. This year, though, is looking up! There are few contenders, I won’t list the OBVIOUS ones like Batman or the Highschool Musical Prequel. What I will be listing are the ones I never heard of, which should mean you also haven’t heard of them! Right? OK, right.

I love all Tarantino movies. I know its a cliche, but screw you the guy is awesome. I simply cannot wait to see this. I didn’t realize just how heavy it was on blaxploitation, it basically seems to be the whole theme of the movie. But as we know, his movies tend to be more character centric more than anything else. So this should be really interesting! I cannot believe Will Smith passed up on this. The trailer looks amazing.

Flight

Two. Friggin. Words. Robert Zemeckis. I love this guy, after all he was one of the people responsible for Back to the Future and did direct Forrest Gump and Cast Away. But he did make a few crappy horror movies and more than a few Xmas movies. So, this guy is a hit or miss. But when he hits, he really hits and this movie looks like a hitter.

Wreck-It Ralph

I haven’t been excited to see an animated movie since .. wow I can’t even remember. It was probably a Pixar movie, but thats all I can remember. This one on the other hand actually looks cool!

The movie stars John C. Reilly and has a whole host of stars like Sarah Silverman and Jack McBrayer!
