After work, I usually go to a Gastropub near Cahuenga and Hollywood where they serve gourmet hotdogs and microbrew. I usually bring my yellow notepad to write/draw for my projects. On somedays, I just write things I overhear in the pub.

The Agent is wearing an expensive suit, on the table are a group of oddly dressed bunch with tattoos.

Agent: ..we booked the bowl.

Group leader is female, with short punk like blue hair and spoke with an odd eastern European accent.

Group Leader: Mr. Alfonoso, this bowl is gig?
Agent: ..the biggest gig darling.
Other band member: We are performing in the Hollywood Bowl! that’s great!
Agent: Oh, no. Its a weekly thing in a bar, they call it the bowl. Its on the Sunset! You guys been on Sunset, right? its that street that has all the stars!
Group Leader: Isn’t that Hollywood Blvd?
Agent: Sunset has some stars too.

Another day

Agent: you guys I have the most amazing news ever! We just booked another gig! How would you guys like it if I told you that we are playing in Santa Monica next weekend!
Group leader: On the beach? thats great!
Agent: no, no I mean the street.

Later that day

Agent: ..what if I told you I also booked a gig for you ON THE DAILY SHOW!
Group leader: What is this daily show? another gay bar where people ask us to play Spice Girl covers?
Agent: No, no darling! this is the biggest show in America, its like being on Italian Idol back home.
Group leader: do we get to do a whole set? or just a few songs?
Agent: Well, technically we only need Bruno, because the gig is for a backup drummer .. BUT I GOT US ALL TICKETS!
