How do you make a successful ad campaign in Kuwait? Thats a good question nobody cares about. Especially ad agencies and companies that employ them alike. What they are good at, however is copying the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER.
One offending formula, that is nearly as offensive as those radio ads that go like this:
Obo Ahmad: Om Ahmad, shfeech?
Om Ahmad: Wee ma sama3t? Sog al Brazalia imsawee 5o9omat 3ala kil shay.
Obo Ahmad: LAA ow iygoloch 3indhum 5a9m 3ala al istkanat ba3ad (tawa ma yadre)?
Om Ahmad: Ishna6er ya Obo Ahmad, 5anro7 ibsr3a!

OK, lets face it. Nothing was as offensive as that. But, I found a close second. Public service announcements. Ever since someone released a a campaign during the Bush elections, that went viral on the internet at the time, ad agencies in Kuwait have been copying it, without shame should they have any. And the formula is still the same FOR EVERY FUCKING PSA FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS.
I recreated the template as you can see below for your amusement. You can also download the PDF version by clicking here.
