One morning when I was in NY last month, I woke up early and decided to go for a walk in Brooklyn. I remembered a Youtube video I saw some time ago about hipster tacos and that’s when I knew exactly where I was going.

The Whirlybird is one of those places you wont find anywhere else in the world. They only serve 2 things. Breakfast tacos and Espressos. Thats it.

The owner, who is also the cook, plays the best music, ever. When I was there, they were playing 80′s Reggae hipster bands. It was cool.

The waitress aka server was probably an American Apparel model, and there was an unwritten rule about all the patrons having instagram.

The tables were stocked with different kinds of home made chili sauces, that were up to snuff. And of course obscure local newspapers from the neighborhood.

The experience was really fun and the food was just great. If you are ever in town, you should go check it out.
